Mahira Hafeez Khan, born December 21, 1982, is a Pakistani VJ, actress and model who appears in Pakistani films and Pakistani dramas. Mahira, who had the desire of becoming an actress from very early on, started her career as a VJ in 2006, at the age of 16. She has worked with Pakistani TV channels such as MTV Pakistan and Aag TV. She made her screen debut in Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol in 2011. Her breakout acting role was as Khirad Ehsan in the popular TV serial drama Humsafar which earned her a Lux Style Award for Satellite Best TV Actress and Hum Award for Best Onscreen Couple. Mahira was born in Karachi, Pakistan. Her father was born in Delhi, India during the British Raj, and migrated to Pakistan after the partition of India. She was married to Ali Askari from 2007 to 2015. They have a son named Azlaan.
